This guide shows you how to start and record a workout using only the app, without a connected band. Duration, GPS, and stats are captured directly in the app.
Steps
- Open the app and start a new workout (tap the Plus menu, then start workout).
- Choose the workout type.
- Tap Start. The app begins recording GPS, duration, and stats.
- When you finish, tap Stop and save the workout.
Verify it worked
The workout appears in Activity History with its duration, route (if GPS was active), and stats.
Notes
- A connected band is not required for this feature.
- For a GPS route, the phone needs location permission and, ideally, GPS enabled outdoors.
- The Rolla Band has no screen, so workout status is tracked in the app, not on the band.
