How Do We Calculate Active Points?
Active Points are significantly influenced by Active Calories—calories burned through physical activity beyond your body's resting metabolic rate (RMR). These calculations incorporate personalised user characteristics, including your age, weight, height, RMR, activity intensity, and standardised metrics like MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) in addition to accounting for different physical activities and their demands.
To ensure fair and accurate scoring, Active Points are calculated every 10 seconds during your activity whenever data is available. This frequent updating ensures your efforts are continuously tracked, making each session dynamic and engaging.
