Sleep Detection Irregularities
Users may occasionally observe:
- Incomplete or inaccurate sleep detection windows.
- Sleep start or end times that don’t match reality.
- Entire nights of sleep missing from the Sleep card.
- Sleep stages or duration being shorter than actual time spent in bed.
Common Causes of Sleep Detection Irregularities
1. Wearing the Band Incorrectly
- The Band must be worn snugly on the wrist, not too loose or tight.
- Incorrect positioning can cause sensor signal loss, affecting heart rate and movement data essential for sleep detection.
2. Low Battery During the Night
- If the band battery runs low or dies overnight, data for that night will be incomplete or missing.
- Always ensure the band is charged to at least 30-50% before going to sleep.
3. Bluetooth Sync Issues
- If the app is not synced regularly, sleep data may not fully transfer from the band to the app.
- Keep Bluetooth and Location services enabled.
- Open the app in the morning to allow it to sync the latest sleep data.
4. Motionless Periods Misinterpreted
- Extended periods of motionless wakefulness (reading, meditating, watching TV) can sometimes be misclassified as sleep or vice versa.
- This is an inherent limitation of wearable detection based on movement + heart rate algorithms.
How to Improve Sleep Tracking Accuracy
- Wear the band properly each night, ensuring firm contact with the skin.
- Charge your Band before sleep.
- Open the app each morning to trigger data sync
- Update the app to the latest version for improved algorithms and bug fixes.
What to Do If Data Is Still Inaccurate
- Restart the band if you notice repeated issues.
- Try synchronizing the band multiple 2-3 times in an 1 hour period
- If sleep data is missing or incorrect for multiple nights, contact Support:

Include:
- Phone model
- Description of the issue
- Screenshots if available
Important Note on Naps
- The Sleep card focuses on continuous nighttime sleep only.
- Naps are not detected or reflected in the Sleep card, by design.
