Released 30 March 2026 — iOS + Android
The release that opened Rolla up to data from other wearables. Garmin Connect and Apple Health integrations went live, and the activity-tracking pipeline got a major rewrite.
What's new
- Garmin Connect integration — connect your Garmin account in Settings → Data Sources and Rolla reads activities, sleep, heart rate, and steps from Garmin.
- Apple Health integration — same setup, with workouts, weight, and blood pressure flowing in from Apple Health.
- Multi-source support — connect multiple data sources at once and pick which one is primary. Switching primary is one tap.
- Activity tracking rewrite — cleaner GPS routes, activity-specific tuning (walking vs running), better stop detection, and improved indoor handling.
Improvements
- App-launch performance: 25% faster cold start.
- Memory footprint reduced — fewer background crashes on older Android devices.
- Sync engine rewritten for partner SDK consumers.
- Live map widget overhauled for a smoother in-workout experience.
Bug fixes
- Band firmware update flow no longer stalls on slow connections.
- Onboarding screen language no longer flickers between system and account language.
- Several edge-case crashes on iOS 17 reported by partner QA.
- Cross-day activities are no longer logged to the end date instead of the start date.
